(Its name is the quote from the title of the book Sapiens by Yubal Noah Harari).

 

For this sculpture I use an icon from the history of art: "The pubis".

Used in prehistoric times with a religious magic intention invoking fertility. Today, it refers to new challenges related to artificial reproduction.

The hole is the center of the work and the protagonist of multiple unknowns. Repair for the future what humanity was for ten thousand years.
